Did You Know?
The CWL is the largest national organization of Catholic Women in Canada.
Any female over the age of 16 is welcome to join.
Guests are ALWAYS welcome to our meetings held the 1st Monday of the month (starting November 1, 2004) from September to June—watch the bulletin— and join in fellowship with other parish women.
Members receive a copy of The Canadian League magazine 4 times a year (check out a copy available at the Press Table at the back of the churches).
When you join the CWL, you do not have to attend every meeting, or will you be expected to ‘sign up’ for duties, unless you want to.
An Annual Retreat is held in Halifax giving members the opportunity to grow spiritually.
By just being a member, YOU will be adding your voice to the already 110,000 strong voices now speaking out on national, provincial and municipal issues such as abortion, television violence, child poverty, child pornography, anti-bullying programs, gambling, young offenders, and many more.
