The budget for our new church building is $3.7 million. These funds will come from 3 sources.
The budget for the new building is separate from the cost of the land in Upper Tantallon. This land was purchased by the diocese and gifted to our parish for our new church building, which will be centrally located in our catchment area.
26 Nov 2011 - Our Campaign Volunteers are reaching out to all parishioners, and we can use your help! If you're interested in learning more about the Campaign, and sharing the news with fellow parishioners, please call Meagan at the office at 876-2235 for more information.
12 Nov 2011 - We are moving forward with listing the church building in Hammonds Plains, and expect to erect a For Sale sign this week. We ask for your prayers for favourable offers for the real estate.
Oct 2011 - In the coming weeks, our parish will be contacting members to invite participation in the Campaign. Volunteers will be phoning parishioners to share campaign information. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Meagan at the office at 876-2235.
Oct 2011 - Our Real Estate Committee is pleased to announce that months of work to sell the parcel of land near St. James Church in Hammonds Plains has come to fruition! This sale of land doesn't include the church building or the parking lot, so there is no impact on our ability to worship. We have been blessed with a very good price for the property, which gives us a great start to our future fundraising.
Sept 2011 - Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts with us through the Feasibility Study. The results were positive, and we are proceeding with the Campaign to raise funds for a new, centrally located church facility located in Upper Tantallon. | Thank you to the 159 families who have generously pledged to Grow With Us.
