About our Logo
  • The cross is designed to serve as the image of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys.
  •  The rocks represent her struggle during her lifetime.
  •  She had only meager supplies, many obstacles, but strong faith; strong like rock.
  •  The rock symbolizes God’s enduring love for us.
  • We are following in her footsteps by bringing together our various churches to become one parish.
  •  We will use rocks, figuratively, to build our parish foundation.
  • Each of us is but one rock. When we come together we are strong in fortitude and faith.
  • Our parish community will struggle on our journey, but if we embrace the symbolism of the rock, being the strong, unbreakable bond of God’s love for us, we will persevere to build a new community, together.
    • Matthew 16:18

"And so I tell you, Peter:  You are a rock, and on this rock foundation I will build my church, and not even death will ever be able to overcome it."

    ·         St. Paul says it simply;

o   We are the living stones with which the Kingdom of God is being built.  Now.  Today.  Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
